Sunflower
A home is defined by its meticulously curated spaces, all formulated together to create a realm of serenity and tranquillity. Taking cue from this, the project focused on creating a peaceful haven for a family of three while incorporating the clients’ needs, druthers and ideologies.
Though the entire house is well-zoned into formal spaces; a sense of fluidity is attached to it through the semi-openkitchen and continuity of floral flooring. To maximize space, special care was taken to incorporate storage and multi-purpose elements such as the kitchen-counter which served as a buffet-table, coffee-bar and an ironing board! The ambience had a flair of nostalgia around it with elements like the laced door sandwiched in glass; that allowed the client reminiscence of her childhood home. Overall, the entire house radiates a vintage bohemian aura complemented with antique brass embellishments.
